Hetaku hunting range

(max. 5 hunters, with accompanying persons up to a total of 12)

Hetaku lies in the Gobabis District, 2 hours east of Windhoek Airport
by car. As well we have a private airstrip directly on the farm.

The Farm belongs to the Black Nossob Conservacy (aprox.
180.000 ha) – one of the largest and richest in game areas in Namibia.
Its border on one side runs for 18 km along the Black Nossob River.
The range has an area of about 8.000 ha.

The biotope varies between vast grass- and bushlands and Acacia
Forests.

There are a large number of waterholes and small dams.
Additionally, the range is served by numerous hunting facilities such
as stands, raised hides and hides. The main and favorite hunting
methods are stalking and raised hide. There is also the possibility
of hunting on horseback.

The Game that can be hunted are:
Kudu, Oryx, Hardebeest, Warthog, Gnu ( Blue-Wildebeest),
Black-Wildebeest, Springbok, Blessbuck, Plains Zebra, Steenbock,
Duiker, Giraffe, Ostrich, Cheetah, Lynx, Jackal and depending
on the season: Pigeon, Guinea fowl, Quail, Frankoline and
numerous Sandgrouse. For the small game hunting we have very
good Setters and Retrievers.

You stay either in our roomy guest bungalows that all have their
own bathroom, or in one of the guest rooms in the main house.

Our excellent cuisine is international. We are happy to fulfill your
special wishes if you notify us beforehand.

There is no problem importing your own firearms.
For a charge we also have rented firearms.
